A short note on what we believe, what we measure, and who we built this for.
BrandMirror was started after watching three customers in a single quarter discover their category through ChatGPT instead of Google. Their SEO dashboards looked fine. Their pipelines didn't. The gap between the two was AI search — and nobody was measuring it.
What we believe
- AI search is a distinct surface, not a sub-feature of Google. It deserves its own measurement, its own playbook, and its own role in marketing org charts.
- Citation rate is a leading indicator of pipeline. When buyers research with AI and your brand is absent, the loss is silent and compounding.
- Methodology beats theatrics. A trustworthy AI monitoring product must publish how it samples, how it deduplicates noise, and how it handles model drift.
